In government
In the Biden-Harris administration, Andrea Goldstein led cultural change across some of the largest institutions in the federal government, serving in senior executive roles at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of the Navy.
On the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, she drafted and oversaw the passage of over 100 laws, including the Deborah Sampson Act.
In uniform
A Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, she has seventeen years of service, seven of them on active duty, from ships at sea to SEAL teams. She still serves.

She is the author or co-author of four books, including the novel Vicomte's Voyage, written under the name A.G. Bridge. Her bylines include the New York Times, USNI Proceedings, and Defense One, and she writes the newsletter Living Resiliently.
