Andrea has led cultural transformation in some of the largest government institutions in the United States. An alum of the Biden-Harris Administration, she served in senior executive roles at the Department of Health & Human Services and the Department of the Navy. In Congress, she served on the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, and was the staff member responsible for the drafting and passage of the Deborah Sampson Act.
Ms. Goldstein served on active duty in the U.S. Navy for seven years, from ships at sea to SEAL teams. She still serves in the Navy Reserve, and is currently serving in a command billet.
Ms. Goldstein is the award-winning writer of numerous articles and co-author of three books. She is a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member and Truman National Security Project member. For her work in government, she was recognized with honors and awards by Disabled American Veterans, HillVets, the National Able Network, and is also the recipient of the Department of the Navy Meritorious Public Service Award. She is a Pat Tillman Scholar and a graduate of the Naval War College, Fletcher School at Tufts University, and University of Chicago.
Ms. Goldstein is a native of New York State with roots in Buffalo, New York City, and Kinderhook, NY.
